Click Here to Add Monogram to a Garment Monogram Colors on Corporate Apparel Monograms decorated on garments should always follow any established company guidelines in order to assure the most tasteful use of the monogram on fashion items. Your Monogram Color Options White, Black, Blue or Red Complimentary Tonal/Contrasting Colors The usual preference for any monogram is that the monogram be used in the standard colors whenever possible (the colors of the garment allow the standard colors to be used and do not "clash" with the garment colors in any way). Whenever the specified colors do not "blend well" with the garment chosen and clash with the garment colors, the monogram should use complementary tonal/contrasting colors that compliment the garment. If you select a standard color and we believe it will not 'work' well with a chosen garment, don't worry. We will contact you before we decorate the garment and discuss your options with you. Your Monogram Placement The normal location for monograms is the left crest. The normal location for large monograms is a full front. The normal location for dual designs is a left crest and a full back The normal location for bags is the center front. Depending upon the garment there are placement options that can be specified. You may request these options… however if they are not possible we will inform you and request an alternative. These placement options are: Left or Right Crest (chest pocket area) Left or Right Sleeve (shoulder area) Left or Right Collar (collar tip area… monogram has to be very small) Left or Right Cuff (cuff area on long sleeve shirts) Full Front (approximately 10 inch square frame in the center front chest area) Full Back (approximately 10 inch square frame in the center shoulder blade area) Tag Back (no more than 4" design on the back, centered just below collar) Some placements will not be possible with some monograms and certain text choices, again, you will be informed of any options.
